Ibsen for all

“An Enemy of the People” at the Cru­cible was abso­lutely first rate.  Anthony Sher as Dr Stock­mann — an endear­ing and some­what naïve enthu­si­astic ideal­ist — quite unworldly in lots of ways.  His brother quite sin­is­ter as the politi­cian.  A par­able about cli­mate change in a way.  Even some laughs — not Ibsen as the com­mon pre­ju­dice goes at all.
